Back by popular demand, The Real Story of Christmas has quickly become one of Lafayette’s most-anticipated holiday traditions. This Broadway-style musical is a lively, interactive celebration filled with music, dancing, laughter, and a powerful message for every generation.
A Story for All Ages
At the heart of the show is Grace Doll, a misfit toy who feels discarded and broken. As Santa’s helpers rally to lift her spirits, Santa and Mrs. Claus take the audience on a whimsical journey through beloved holiday classics. From Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer to The Cajun Night Before Christmas and even Elf on the Shelf, these stories are brought to life in a dazzling way that has everyone singing, laughing, and clapping along.
A Powerful Finale
The highlight of the production comes when Santa and Mrs. Claus turn the spotlight on the real story of Christmas. As live camels and sheep make their way on stage, the audience is drawn into the awe and wonder of the nativity—the birth of Jesus Christ. It’s a moment that captures the true heart of the holiday season.
After the show, families are invited to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, take free pictures with them on stage, and enjoy the festive atmosphere together.
