Looking for something a little different to do with your teens or friends? Get ready to test your aim! Aim & Fire, a brand-new pop-up airsoft target-shooting arcade, is bringing a unique entertainment experience to Lafayette for a limited time.
The first pop-up event is happening Friday, October 16, at the Evangeline Shrine Club in Lafayette. Unlike a permanent entertainment venue, Aim & Fire is popping up on select dates, giving you a limited-time opportunity to try something new without leaving Acadiana.
What Is Aim & Fire?
Aim & Fire gives players the chance to step up to a shooting lane, take aim at targets and see how their skills stack up. It’s a fun way to challenge your friends, compete with your crew and try something new, whether you’re a first-time player or feeling confident in your aim.
Up to four players can be assigned to a lane, taking turns during gameplay. Each player gets their own airsoft gun and magazine, with additional magazines available for anyone who wants to keep playing after running out of BBs.
The cost is $22 plus tax per person for one play. Each play includes the use of an airsoft gun and an individual magazine. Want another round? Additional magazines are available for $5 plus tax.
New: Saturday Tournaments With a $500 Cash Prize
Ready to put your aim to the test? Aim & Fire is adding tournaments every Saturday the pop-up is open, giving players a chance to compete for a $500 cash prize!
Tournament entry is $50 per person, and the goal is simple: knock down all the targets in the fastest amount of time. Four winners will be selected each tournament day, with each winner receiving $500 in cash.
Each tournament session requires a minimum of 10 participants and allows a maximum of 30. There will be four sessions throughout the day, with a new group competing every two hours:
- Group 1: 1–3 p.m.
- Group 2: 3–5 p.m.
- Group 3: 5–7 p.m.
- Group 4: 7–9 p.m.
Tournaments are open to participants ages 13 and older. However, participants ages 17 and under must have a parent physically present at the venue to participate.
There is also a rule for returning champions: Once someone wins a tournament, they cannot enter another tournament until the next Saturday tournament Aim & Fire holds the following month. For example, someone who wins on October 17 can compete again on November 14. Winners are still welcome to return on other open dates for regular gameplay.
Not interested in competing for the cash prize? No problem! Regular gameplay will remain available during open pop-up dates for those who simply want to take aim, have fun and challenge their friends without entering a tournament.

A Local Idea Two Years in the Making
Aim & Fire was created by a couple who wanted to bring more exciting entertainment options home to Louisiana after spending years traveling for work. While visiting cities across the country, they discovered all kinds of entertainment experiences and began dreaming about bringing something different to their own community.
After two years of hard work, their idea is becoming a reality. The first pop-up is just the beginning, and they’re excited to share this new experience with Acadiana.
