Your child will journey through our historic village and discover what life was like for the Acadians when they arrived in Louisiana in 1764. Through hands-on experiences, they’ll step back in time and gain a deeper understanding of daily life hundreds of years ago. Along the way, they’ll explore and celebrate Louisiana and Acadian traditions—from food and music to holidays and cultural customs—bringing history to life in a fun and memorable way.

π¨ Hands-On Arts & Crafts
Campers will get creative making their own leather bracelets, rag dolls, and even designing their own zydeco musicians.
π‘ Explore the Historic Village
Step back in time with a guided tour where campers experience a day in the life of the Acadians. They’ll enjoy Cajun music, learn traditional dances, and pick up simple French phrases along the way.
π£ Outdoor Adventures
From fishing, scavenger hunts, and relay races to fun jumps and water activities, there’s plenty of excitement to keep campers active and engaged all day long.
